Jerry Plett                                                                                                                

                                   Jerry Plett is a loving husband, dad of three daughters, two sons-in-law and grandpa to five grandchildren.  He has served at SVEMC for 18 years. He decided to become a pastor in response to the call of God on his life and a love for watching people grow in their spiritual lives. One of his favourite verses is Philippians 3:13 "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead."

He enjoys wood working, driving, walking, cycling, reading and fishing, although he never goes fishing.

Jerry has earned a Bachelor of Religious Studies from Steinbach Bible College and a Master of Divinity from Winnipeg Theological Seminary. He has a passion for authentic discipleship.
